Is Listening Comprehension in a Foreign Language Affected by Age?

Research background: The development of listening comprehension in a foreign language is complex process, interrelated with the progress other skills, and could be affected by numerous variables, including age. This study responds to middle-aged adults’ complaints about their difficulties English as Foreign Language (EFL) examining relationship between success EFL age.Gap knowledge Purpose study: Although age considered crucial factor acquisition, there lack studies providing evidence on achievement adult learners. aimed find out whether one significant factors affecting relation skills.Methods: Quantitative data analysis was used determine 1,323 Czech adults. Analysis variance (ANOVA) compare three groups, tested within five academic years.
